Readings from a slow day
I started the day being tired - deciding to take it easy a few hours before actually doing anything productive. I made a few decisions about my thesis work, without actually writing anything. The decision was basically to try making two different methods work and comparing the speed etc between them. Not that interesting in the details if you're not actually interested in science I guess...
The first reading I can recommend is of course BOFH - it is friday after all, and there's never an extra explanation needed for the Bastard Operator From Hell.
Second, I found something interesting at Wired - Some guy had been doing research at a small island village on how people there communicate etc, and applied it in software he created, and it seems to be working :-)
The third thing I read was about people who play Massive Multiplayer games give skills which are sometimes giving an edge for getting a job. Suddenly, I think my younger brother could actually be succesful when finally getting a job - even though all he seems to do is sit and play games all day, even when he's with friends.... (of course he also does enough homework to pass some classes, and reads a lot of fantasy books - but that's beside the point ;p)

I am interested in science , sweety.
Are you?
What you do is hardly scientifc I assume - since sience is based on hypothesis , experiments to prove that hypothesis wrong or wright and eventually you come out with evidence.
Evidence that most often leeds to another updated final thesis.
So tell me - which evidence are you hoping to find for your thesis?
And what will you base that evidence on?
OR is this not the wright definition of science did I get sth wrong?
I would so like to learn better.
my sweet "scientist"
